Luxury planes that are basically flying mansions

Having to travel a lot as a child and through out high school this really caught my eye. See how much people will pay just for a first class seaton a 16 hour flight. Looking at all these first class seating and seeing what it is like i find it crazy that some people have $21,000 laying around spend on one, first class ticket, like that about a year of college tuition. Not only that but Trump 757 plane is insane having gold plated through out the plane and his bed alone is coated in gold sheets. Also surround sound tv with a lot of his favorite DVDS on file. He bought it at 1 million dollars. Damn now i wish i was Donald Trump. If you fly Emigrates Dubai to New York Flight you get you own little suite with a mini bar, a seat that turns into a bed, luxury shower, as well you get complementary slippers, night mask, pajamas, and more.

10 under the radar beaches in the USi

Have you ever been to a beach and thought damn its crowded here. There are a lot of beaches out there that are under the radar and being a beach lover myself i found this page very informative. Talking about beaches in most tourist areas like Hawaii or just a small town state like Virginia. The ten beaches talked about on this page are Carova Beach in North Carolina, Roque Bluffs in Maine, Enderts Beach in California, Dry Tortugas in Florida, Sandbridge Beach in Virginia, Folly Beach in South Carolina, Second Beach in Washington, Wildcat Beach in California, Aweahua Beach in Hawaii, and Cumberland Island in Georgia. Growing up in Virginia and living in California finding the privater beaches is alway the hardest to find. I love beaches and cannot wait to check these out.

Dolphin Dies due to Selfie

In Argentina a tourist had taken a live dolphin out of the water in order to take a selfie with the animal. “It’s the second time in a year that this has occurred in Argentina alone: In February 2016, a rare La Plata baby dolphin died after tourists in the resort of Santa Teresita removed it from the water to pass around and take selfies with, eventually leaving it in the sand.” This was very hard for me to read and see being an animal lover and a dolphin being my favorite animal it breaks my heart that some people are that stupid to take a living dolphin and take it out of the ocean just to pet it.  Not only has this happened with dolphins but with peacocks too in a zoo in China and with a bison at Yellowstone National Park. Not only did the tourist take the dolphin out and let it die she left the dead dolphin in the sand. If I was in the tourist shoes i first wouldn’t try to take the dolphin out of the water i would go in and pet it if I had the urge to and secondly i wouldn’t try to take a selfie i would take a picture at a respectible distance . Reading this it surprises me how low people will go to get a picture.

Universal Getting Greedy

Orlando is opening a new park on May 25, 2017 called Universal Orlando Volcano Bay. Universal and Disney have always been rivals so as this new park is being build I ask myself why are they trying to charge you more when they should be trying to get more people to come than at Disney parks but they are trying to charge more. A one day ticket to the park will be $67, while Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon is $62. “Disney World’s one-day price drops to $57. A ticket for SeaWorld’s (NYSE: SEAS) Aquatica costs $59.99, though folks buying their admissions at least a day in advance can purchase them online for $49.99.” As well as Disney having there new bracelets, Universal will also be adding that as well at this new park. “Universal Orlando announced on Thursday that existing passholders would pay between $99 and $150 to upgrade their current passes to include Volcano Bay. The $99 option is for holders of Universal Orlando’s lowest three tiers of annual passes, and they include blackout dates. The $150 upgrade that includes year-round access to Volcano Bay is available only to passholders on the priciest Premier plan.” While at  Disney World they charge just $125 for an annual pass that includes both of its water parks. There are no blackout dates.”  Personally i agree with the title of this article. I feel that Universal is trying to charge too much that they will not get as much business as the Disney World parks

Tucker hates Trump

At a local high school (Tucker) in my home town of Richmond, Va., the senior class every year gets to decide what they want to paint three walls in the school courtyard. This year the senior class had decided to make a mural offending trump as there senior painting. This got a lot of news coverage. This mural is only visible inside the courtyard and cannot be seen from the street. Talking to some of my friends that still go to this school or have in the past, they feel that their school should not have this mural because for the student who support trump are at a school that looks like its for trump haters. Personally i feel that a mural at a school should not revolve around politics or the current president because it makes that certain school look like the people go there are all on that team.

Your Brain on Video Games

This was very interesting and brought a lot of good points to my attention. 90% of school-age children do play video games. 70% of the heads of households mean age gamer is 33 years old. Doses of  playing video games can have positive outcomes on people. Action gamers vision is better than those of non action gamers. It is better in 2 ways, you can see more detail in clutterness and you can recognize different levels of gray. Bavelier show many examples of this one was color to word, multitasking, mental rotation task.

last lecture

Watching the last lecture was very interesting. He believes that family come first and that you need a lot of laughs to get through it. Randy Pausch has 10 tumors in his liver. “We cannot change the cards we are dealt, just how we play the hand”. I agree with this 100%. When i was born i was diognosed with Bylers disease, my parents had taken me to multiple doctors until they found someone who knew what was wrong with me. Most of the doctors had told my family i was not going to live past one and look at me 19 years later. We all have to deal with things that are unpleasent or not fair but you just have to learn how to “play the hand” for say. Even though he is dying he is full of life and is not sitting in bed using his last months to be depressed. Throughout this video you see Randy cracking jokes and giggling. As well he talks about his childhood dreams and what each of those dreams taught him.

Puppy Mills No Go

A puppy mill in Warm Springs, Arkansas is being sued for abusing the puppies. 46 puppies were rescued from warm springs however, there are still puppies stuck in this mill. This puppy mill isn’t the only one hurting animals. Having worked in a animal clinic it hurts me to read about all these puppies not having a good and healthy home. Giving us “access to these records has enabled the public to learn about many animal-care violations including by puppy mills, roadside zoos and training barns engaged in cruel horse veterinary. It has also provided accountability for research facilities that violate the law, and allowed assessment of how many animals are used (often with taxpayer funding) for research that causes unrelieved pain to animals” said Karin Brulliard from Washington Post. I believe that facilities should be held accountable for how they are treating animals if its to a elephant to a tiny little puppy. A lot of people do not know what it like behind the scenes working at an veterinary hospital a lot of the nurses and doctors open my eyes to the real side of puppy mills.

effect media has on body image

Media has a major effect on everyone body image. Throughout everyone childhood we are constantly judge, women being judged if they are not skinny enough and men if they are not bulky or have muscle. Growing up women saw barbies as the ideal body size and men had GI Joe dolls. As well as dolls having a major effect tv and Facebook do as well. We look on television and see all these thin and muscular actors and we compare ourselves to them all the time. Media has a major effect on everyone and we shouldn’t let the media and the people around you put you down. LOVE YOUR BODY BECAUSE THATS THE BODY YOUR STUCK WITH!

Sexist dress codes

After being sent home from school, this teen shares her thoughts on sexist dress codes and female empowerment.

Posted by Upworthy on Monday, January 9, 2017

Going through my Facebook news feed i came across this video on dress codes. This teenage girl was sent home on the 6th day of school for wearing a strapless dress. She was told that boy are sent home all the time for stuff like this however they are not. When i was in middle school girls would constantly be question about the length of there shorts, at my school it was finger tip length. I am very short so i had the perks of being able to wear shorter shorts, however my best friend who is 5.9 could not wear shorts to school because her arm length went to the middle of her upper thigh and there were not shorts long enough in store for her to wear. This is unfair for a lot of students. As she says in this video the rational on why she had to change is because showing your shoulder is too distracting. I agree with her 100% i find that dress codes are unfair and should be not as strict at public and private schools.
